Staff Accountant with Yardi - Coral Gables

Seeking a Staff Accountant with YARDI software experience for an award winning, mid to large-sized, very fast-growing Construction company, centrally located in Miami.

Position Title: Staff Accountant with Yardi and/or Construction

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, normal business

Location: Coral Gables (Miami, FL)

Salary: $70K + annual bonus

Technical Skill Set Required:
• Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
• Producing WIP reports
• AIA Billing
• Percentage of completion reports
• Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.
• Preparing pre-billing reports for project managers to review.
• Preparing actual costs, working capital, and tax reports.
• Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.
• Issuing invoices and purchase orders, as well as paying consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills.
• Ensuring a steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices in a timely manner.
• Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.

Job Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must have:
• Minimum of 2 years Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
• Construction industry accounting experience
• YARDI software experience is required.
• Intermediate / Advanced Excel
