Operation Executive (Marine Division)

Location: Juinagar, Navi Mumbai

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the marine industry, with experience in managing and coordinating operational activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate quotations for marine safety equipment such as lifeboats, life rafts, and firefighting appliances.
Review client inquiries and specifications to ensure quotations are technically and commercially accurate.
Prepare cost comparisons, supplier quotations, and pricing sheets using Microsoft Excel.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and technical details for marine items.
Maintain and update product and pricing databases in Excel.
Track quotations, follow up with customers, and update management on quotation status and conversion rates.
Ensure all documentation (certificates, manuals, approvals, etc.) is complete and compliant with marine industry standards.
Collaborate with the finance team to verify costing, margins, and payment terms.
Maintain organized records of quotations, correspondence, and supplier documents.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in operations, preferably in the marine or offshore equipment industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of marine safety items such as lifeboats, life rafts, and firefighting appliances is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing commercial documents.
Good communication and coordination skills.
