About Us

Edgemine, Inc. is a leading multi-label fashion house based in Los Angeles, specializing in contemporary women’s wholesale apparel. With four thriving labels—Blu Pepper, Moon River, MINE, Perch, and E&M—we are known for delivering trend-forward, high-quality designs to the modern woman. We’re currently seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join our Import Fashion Production Team and help bring our creative visions to life.

Position Summary

As an Assistant Technical Designer, you will support the Technical Design team in evaluating sample garments, creating accurate technical specifications, and ensuring fit consistency across styles. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the fashion production space and gain hands-on experience in tech design for a dynamic and fast-paced apparel company.

Key Responsibilities

Measure and assess production and pre-production samples to ensure alignment with approved specifications.
Assist the Technical Designer in daily tasks, including fit comments and tech pack maintenance.
Learn and assist in building and updating Tech Packs (CADs, BOMs, spec sheets, construction details).
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, production, and overseas vendors.
Utilize Adobe Illustrator to update technical flats and callouts.
Assist with fittings and note key points related to garment construction and fit.
Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in a technical design, production, or fashion design support role (internships included).
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience in Plus Size fashion is a strong plus, but not required.
Degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred.
