Job Description

The Manager, Supply Chain Applications is responsible for the deployment, ongoing operation and support of the Manhattan WMOS Suite and the Supply Chain Legacy applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage a team of 2 to 5 people
Manage the administration and support for the entire Manhattan Associates WMOS suite
Responsible for incident management for all DCs and Supply Chain
Responsible for the technical configuration and setup of the WMOS application server environment
Plan, manage and support WMOS application maintenance installs and application upgrades
Coordinate with IT business alignment, architecture, infrastructure and security teams on the planning and installation of application upgrades/patches.
Own interfaces between and within Supply Chain Systems; includes setup and maintenance and error handling.
Control the migration of Supply Chain Systems code changes between non-production environments
Ongoing responsibility for identifying errors and troubleshooting issues, including bad messages, communications failures that occur between MIF and associated internal and external applications.
Conduct root-cause analysis for application issues.
Support various phases of application development, testing and deployment activities.
Production support including periodic after hours and weekend support responsibilities.
Responsible for application management functions including performance monitoring and capacity planning for non-production and production environments.
Master gatekeeper of software change management log (revision control) and managing what code fixes need to be migrated to what environments.
Support dry-run activities and go-live execution to ensure code integrity.

Requirements

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Years of Experience
5-7 years of experience with as an application support specialist, systems analyst or application manager
Minimum 2 years of experience using Manhattan WMOS – design, development, test and roll out.

Skills
Extensive knowledge of applications interfaces; understanding of XML, EJB, webMethods and ETL tools – Informatica, preferred.
Knowledge of Eclipse; Cognos, Jasper and Manhattan applications a plus.
Proficient use of revision control tools for managing code movements across environments
Experience implementing code revision controls
Knowledge of Manhattan Associates WMS code environment
Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development
Good debugging and problem solving skills
Must possess excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
Additional Qualifications (behavioral traits, certifications, etc.) - Level of language needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties
Fluent - English
Level of mathematical skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties
College-level mathematical skills
Level of reasoning skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties
College-level reasoning skills

Physical Requirements
General office environment requiring ability to:
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.
Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing.
Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $117,300.00– $176,000.00 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
