Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled German Language Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the German language and culture, with the ability to engage students in an interactive and dynamic classroom environment. This role involves teaching German to students of various proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and helping them achieve their language learning goals.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective German language lessons for students of different proficiency levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their performance.
• Create and implement effective instructional materials and resources tailored to students’ learning needs.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including communicative language teaching, task-based learning, and technology-enhanced instruction.
• Prepare and administer quizzes, exams, and assignments to evaluate student knowledge.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents (if applicable), and staff.
• Stay updated on current language teaching methods and materials, as well as developments in German-speaking countries.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Native or near-native proficiency in German (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience in teaching German as a second language (experience in teaching both adults and children is a plus).
• Strong understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and cultural aspects of the German language.
• Ability to create lesson plans that are engaging, interactive, and cater to various learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching online or in a virtual classroom environment.
• Ability to teach in other foreign languages is a plus.
