Security Guard for Charter School in Manhattan
Monday-Friday

11am-7:00pm schedule (37.50 hours per week), 30-minute meal break.

Duties include access control and foot patrols.

JC Protection is currently looking to hire an unarmed Security Guard for a school in Washington Heights (Manhattan). The hourly pay is $19/hr. Must be able to provide the following:

Provide a safe secure environment for students, staff and guests inside the school.
Establish and maintain good rapport with parents, students, staff and community members.
Help to create and maintain a good working relationship with the local police and fire departments.
Request assistance from school administration and/or police when necessary.
Control all access to front entrance and ensure persons entering are properly identified.
Assist law enforcement officers as directed by school administration.
Follow school administrative rules and regulations.
Demonstrate problem solving and responsible decision-making skills.
Valid State ID.
Valid Security guard license.
Prior School experience required.
Conduct vertical patrols in school.
Be able to stand when needed and secure admission and dismissals of students/staff.
