Job Description

HRIS Administrator – Temporary Full-Time

Position Number: PC0038
Location: Mackay CBD
Classification: Level 5, Stream A
Status: Temporary Full-Time until 30 November 2026


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage and maintain our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and providing support to HR and payroll operations.


Key Responsibilities

Maintain and administer HRIS to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
Generate reports and provide insights to support HR decision-making.
Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with vendors for resolution.
Support HR processes including onboarding, payroll, and compliance reporting.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Demonstrated experience in HRIS administration or similar systems.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
