Room boy Waiter Receptionist Barman Security Guard Housekeeping Captain

The following positions are required to meet the operational needs of the hotel/resort.

Job Title: Room Boy / Room Attendant

Job Summary:
The Room Boy is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies (soap, shampoo, water, etc.).
Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum rooms to maintain hygiene standards.

Guest Service
Respond to guest requests politely and promptly (extra pillows, cleaning, etc.).
Ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied with room conditions.

Inspection & Reporting
Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (leaks, broken furniture, electrical faults) and report them to the supervisor.
Follow standard checklists to ensure nothing is missed while cleaning.

Safety & Hygiene Compliance
Follow hotel hygiene protocols, cleaning procedures, and chemical safety guidelines.
Handle guest belongings with care and maintain confidentiality.

Team Coordination
Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors for room status updates.
Assist in laundry duties or other housekeeping tasks if needed.

Skills Required:
Good physical stamina & attention to detail.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hotel housekeeping standards.
Polite, professional, and guest-friendly behavior.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.

Qualification:
Minimum 8th / 10th pass (depends on hotel requirement).
Experience in housekeeping (preferred but not mandatory training provided).

Salary: As per industry
