Trailer Mechanic – Semi Trailer Repairs (Brisbane & SEQ)

Full-time Recruitment Position/s with Large Family Owned Interstate Transport Company

We’re recruiting experienced Trailer Mechanics to join a leading national transport company. If you’ve worked on semi-trailers, dollies, flat-tops, tautliners, or refrigerated trailers, this is solid, quality work with a great team.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintenance and repairs across a fleet of heavy transport trailers, including:

Brake systems (drums, Disc, air systems)
Suspension repairs & component replacements
Axles, hubs, bearings
Electrical and lighting systems
Body repairs – curtains, panel, floor, structural
General preventative maintenance & defect rectifications
Completing basic paperwork / service sheets
Workshop roles available + occasional site-based repairs.

What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or similar, OR significant trailer repair experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
Current driver’s licence (HC/MC highly regarded)
Reliable, safe, and able to work in a fast-paced transport environment
