Social Media Video Editor - Combat Sports

The Role and What You’ll Do:
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, detail-oriented, and experienced in short-form content production. You will work closely with the social media team to develop strategies, capture live content at events, and deliver engaging content under tight deadlines.

Deep understanding of social-first content creation, including best practices, trends, the latest platform changes that effect content performance.

Edit video content for social media platforms. (Shooting is a bonus but not required)
Organize, name, and archive all video assets using standardized logging processes.
Develop short-form video content that supports storytelling and brand objectives.
Collaborate with the social media team to craft and execute video content strategies aligned with campaign and engagement goals.
Stay informed on current trends and emerging best practices in digital video and social media.
Follow production schedules and ensure all content is delivered on time.
Use performance analytics to evaluate and optimize content strategy for maximum engagement.
Maintain strict confidentiality with proprietary or sensitive information.
Maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary information with discretion.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during live events (if you can shoot).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

You Have These:
1-3 years of relevant experience in video production and editing specifically for short-form social media, preferably in sports or entertainment.
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital content, including social-first video formats.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and respond promptly to team needs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
Proven track record of managing video projects from ideation to delivery under tight timelines.

Pay: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
