Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. Experience with painting tennis courts is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including blueprint reading, plastering, caulking, and the use of power tools. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in both new construction and restoration projects, ensuring client satisfaction and safety standards are met.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint finishes using a squeegee and rollers.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements

Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting environments
Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, as well as power tools including airless sprayers and grinders
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during project planning
Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols is preferred
Maintenance Person experience or background in remodeling can be advantageous
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including renovation sites or new construction projects
