Owner Operator- Route Delivery Driver (Lafayette, IN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional delivery driver to run a daily route in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a physically active role that requires excellent time management, safe driving practices, and the ability to work independently.

Drivers will deliver packages to residential and commercial locations, follow manifest procedures, and complete all documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the delivery station by the assigned time
Check in with security using issued Driver ID
Receive scanner + paper manifest (required daily)
Sort and load packages efficiently
Deliver 80–100 stops per day
Maintain professional communication and appearance
Return all undeliverables, scanner, and completed manifest
Follow all safety guidelines
Provide accurate records and documentation
Requirements

Must pass a background check
Valid driver’s license
Must own/lease a sprinter or cargo van
Ability to lift 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance)
Must wear dark pants/shirt & high-visibility vest
Able to work a 10–11 hour delivery shift
No recent felony/theft/violence/drug-related convictions
Preferred Experience

FedEx, UPS, Amazon, USPS, or other route delivery experience
Previous logistics or transportation experience
