Responsibilities

Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques to ensure secure transport.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
Deliver products directly to customers’ locations with a focus on excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting items against invoices or packing lists before loading and upon arrival.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route logs, delivery confirmations, and incident reports if needed.
Communicate proactively with dispatch or warehouse teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management, moving stock using forklifts or pallet jacks, and organizing goods for dispatch when necessary.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, and driving activities to promote a safe working environment.
Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving efficiency.
Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients at every stop.
Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, moving heavy items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely during loading/unloading processes.
Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles in various driving conditions.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and vehicle operation.
Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management.
