Salt Water Vacuum Truck Driver – Job Summary

A Salt Water Vacuum Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a vacuum truck to haul production water, flowback water, and other non-hazardous fluids from well sites to designated disposal facilities. This role requires strong knowledge of oilfield operations, safe driving practices, and regulatory compliance. Drivers must perform accurate gauge readings, maintain detailed load tickets, and ensure all fluids are transported and disposed of according to company, state, and federal regulations. The position involves working in remote locations, navigating lease roads, and communicating effectively with dispatch, rig personnel, and disposal site operators. Reliability, safety awareness, and attention to detail are essential.

Expanded Duties

Operate a vacuum truck to pick up and deliver produced water, flowback, and saltwater from well sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure truck and equipment are in safe working condition.
Load and unload fluids using hoses, pumps, and connections; ensure proper containment to avoid spills.
Accurately complete load tickets, logs, and electronic records.
Follow DOT regulations, oilfield safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
Communicate with dispatch regarding locations, loads, and schedules.
Navigate lease roads and operate in all weather conditions.
Assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting on the truck when necessary.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the truck and equipment.
Qualifications

Tanker Endorsement (N) required.
Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
Experience with vacuum trucks or oilfield hauling preferred.
Knowledge of oilfield locations, terminology, tanks, and disposal facilities.
Ability to lift hoses, handle equipment, and work outdoors for extended periods.
Strong focus on safety, communication, and situational awareness.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
