Job Description
Lead and own end-to-end actuarial reporting, valuation, and forecasting processes, ensuring timely, accurate delivery of results.
Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the Board, turning complex data into clear, actionable guidance that supports growth and performance ambitions.
Shape and uplift systems, tools, and processes as we expand our capability and scale our actuarial function.
Build capability across the team, contributing to a high-performing and future-ready actuarial function.
Play a central role in our journey to become a market leader, contributing expertise, ambition, and a desire to make real impact.
To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following
Qualified actuary (FIAA, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) with 10+ years’ experience in life insurance or financial services.
Proven leadership in actuarial reporting, forecasting, valuation, and financial modelling in complex environments.
Strong command of IFRS, NZ GAAP & US GAAP reporting, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory frameworks.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skill, with proven ability to influence execs and simplify complexity.
A forward-looking mindset, embracing change, automation and opportunities to modernise tools, processes and insight delivery.
