Due to an internal move, we are currently seeking a dedicated Rostering Partner to manage and coordinate staff rostering across a portfolio of Residential Care facilities within New South Wales and the ACT. In this essential role, you will ensure optimal staffing levels, cost-effective shift allocations, and smooth operations to enable our frontline teams to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

This role is Monday-Friday: 12pm-8pm - home based with travel to sites as required

As the Residential Care Rosterer - you will:

Oversee the rostering function by meeting monthly and quarterly targets, updating rosters fortnightly, and managing day-to-day adjustments

Ensure timely and appropriate staffing for shifts, aligning with Care Minute guidelines and employee contracts

Maintain and manage roster schedules, ensuring all vacant shifts are covered according to best practices

Monitor and adjust rosters based on occupancy, staff availability, and other factors in consultation with the RC Rostering Team Leader

Handle compliance, forward planning, unplanned leave, and agency spend

Set up new employees in UKG Dimensions, adhering to Onboarding Policy

Liaise with preferred supplier agencies to manage agency usage

Join us and play a crucial role in providing high-quality care through effective rostering and coordination.

To succeed in this role, we'd expect you to have:

Proven knowledge of workforce and resource planning methodologies and their practical applications

Experience in resource planning within an on-site facility environment, with strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail

Familiarity with rostering software/systems such as UKG Dimensions or similar

Strong organisational and planning skills to establish action plans and meet objectives within set priorities and timelines

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for providing informed advice on complex resource planning issues
