Position Summary
The IT & Digital Communications / Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital's information technology operations, digital communication platforms, and key facility management functions. This position ensures reliable technology operations, effective digital engagement, and smooth coordination of facility services to support efficient hospital workflows.
Working closely with administration, clinical departments, and vendors, this individual maintains secure IT systems, manages the hospital’s online presence, and supports internal and external communication efforts.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related needs, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage hospital infrastructure including network systems, Wi-Fi, and user access.
Coordinate vendor support for system maintenance, cybersecurity, and upgrades.
Oversee social media accounts and digital content for community engagement.
Support facility operations by addressing maintenance requests, monitoring systems, and assisting with vendor coordination.
Track technology inventory, manage service contracts, and support small-scale facility or IT projects.
Provide staff training in software tools, system access, and digital communication standards.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital communication policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
Experience in IT support, software troubleshooting, and system management.
Background in social media management and digital design.
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant digital communication practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities across IT, communications, and facility support.
Schedule
Full-time role, primarily day shifts.
Flexibility required for after-hours IT or facility needs.
