Job Description

We are looking for an inspirational, collaborative and experienced professional, applying your genuine depth of experience in aged care, compliance, and governance, to lead the implementation of the new Strengthened Aged Care Standards. You will also drive excellence in disability support, by meeting and exceeding the NDIS Practice Standards, and across all home care services, in line with the Australian Community Industry Standard (ACIS).

As the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will champion excellence across the company and be part of a dynamic leadership team. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the broader team, you will ensure we continue to provide safe, quality, person-centred care in the community.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Ensure quality and compliance across all our home care services, meeting and exceeding the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators and Australian Community Industry Standards (ACIS)
Manage Quality Systems
Provide leadership in driving audit readiness and oversee external audits, quality reviews and accreditations
Lead risk, complaint and incident management and drive continuous improvement across the organisation
Oversee reportable incident investigations, reporting and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.
Build staff understanding of quality and compliance, working with our L&D Coordinator to develop training programs.
Complete self-assessments and conduct regular internal audits in line with annual audit schedule.
Who are you:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as nursing or other health or human services profession, quality management etc.
Extensive experience and knowledge of either, or both Aged Care or NDIS compliance, continuous improvement, quality management and accreditation standards and processes.
Success in managing audits and regulatory relationships.
Proven experience in elevating quality and transitioning operations to best practice.
Experience in managing complex issues including open disclosure processes, investigations, and complex complaints.
Strong appreciation of the Aged Care and other relevant quality standards, compliance, and audit regulatory processes.
Enjoy working in an outcome focused environment that has a vision of providing the best support to people living in the community.
