Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
Perform repairs on computer hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, and peripherals using hand tools and soldering techniques.
Repair and replace mobile device components for smartphones and tablets.
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify faulty parts and execute precise repairs.
Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve operating system or software conflicts affecting hardware performance.
Provide technical support to clients both in-field and at retail locations, ensuring timely resolution of hardware problems.
Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures.
Assist in training team members on new repair techniques or equipment handling procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience with computer hardware repair, including soldering and equipment repair techniques.
Familiarity with multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware failures efficiently.
Proficiency with hand tools used in electronics repair and familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting circuitry.
Excellent technical support skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to clients.
Experience working in field service or retail sales environments is preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
