Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our CCA claims team at Marsh. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Claims Team Leader

We will count on you to:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the Claims team meets KPIs.

Triage notifications from the client’s Risk and Security Managers, allocating matters promptly to team members.

Manage team workload, priorities, and performance, ensuring compliance with client requirements and service agreements.

Monitor claims performance, develop claim strategies for escalated or complex claims, and provide technical guidance on claim investigation and resolution.

Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, insurers, stakeholders, and third parties, and prepare reports and trend analysis consistent with service agreements.

What you need to have:

Proven expertise managing Liability & Property claims within an insurer, law firm, in-house claims team, or third-party administrator.

Strong technical knowledge of claims principles and relevant legislation including the General Insurance Code of Practice, Insurance Contracts Act, and Privacy Act.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Superior relationship management skills and problem-solving ability.

People leadership experience is advantageous.
