We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, Alberta, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge, in an enclosed plant that is open all year. We are currently looking to add a new role to our team: Building Caretaker

Summary

The Building Caretaker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workplace across all office and plant areas. This role supports daily facility operations by performing cleaning duties, monitoring supply levels, assisting with light outdoor maintenance, and ensuring a professional appearance throughout the building. The Building Caretaker will work closely with the management team to address facility needs as they arise.

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Clean office spaces, including wiping down all hard surfaces
Perform daily cleaning of office and plant washrooms
Stock and replenish supplies such as paper goods, toiletries, and hand soap
Conduct spot cleaning as needed throughout the day
Remove garbage and recycling from offices, washrooms, and common areas
Complete light snow clearing and salting of entrances as needed
Wipe and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and switches
Communicate facility needs, supply shortages, or maintenance concerns to management
Key Qualifications

Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance roles considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment
Familiarity with safe use of cleaning chemicals and products
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment
