Clinical Coordinator - Neurodevelopmental Pathway

The Kari Centre is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead our Neurodevelopmental Team, a dedicated group responsible for assessments of neurodevelopmental conditions, specifically ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, for children and young people across central Auckland.

This is a meaningful leadership role that combines clinical expertise, team support, and service development and is ideal for a clinician who enjoys bringing people together and shaping how care is delivered.

About the Role

As Clinical Coordinator, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight to a skilled multidisciplinary team completing neurodevelopmental assessments. You will also undertake some clinical duties. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, timely, and culturally responsive assessment pathways for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau.

You will:

Offer clinical guidance and consultation to clinicians completing neurodevelopmental assessments
Support reflective thinking and formulation, particularly in complex presentations
Ensure assessment processes are smooth, coordinated, and aligned to evidence-based practice
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Work closely with the Clinical Team Leader, Lead Clinician, and wider leadership team
