Job Description
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses efficiently and accurately in accordance with company policies.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain positive relationships with vendors.
Prepare and process electronic payments, including domestic and international transactions, ensuring compliance with payment cycles.
Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and financial reporting for accounts payable activities.
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of invoice, purchase order, and payment queries.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all accounts payable documentation is properly filed and accessible for audit purposes.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance administration role, ideally within a medium/large business environment.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice coding, and expense management.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and payment processing.
Confident using financial software systems; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Nimbus or similar) an advantage.
Effective communication skills for engaging with suppliers, team members, and leaders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Committed to working in a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious environment.
Legal right to work in New Zealand is essential.
