Kitchen Helper and Dishwasher - Catering service

Located in Laval, La Petite Mangue is a catering service dedicated to delivering an authentic culinary experience inspired by traditional Asian cuisine for both private and corporate events.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team, either part-time or full-time. Working under the direct supervision of the owner, your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing and organizing the necessary ingredients for the event
Assembling the cocktails (hors-d'oeuvres) and placing them in trays.
Preparing and packaging the food for buffets
Working directly with other cooks and kitchen staff to coordinate the meals and the timing
Keeping proper cleanliness of the work area
Washing dishes during and after events
Storing clean dishes
Keeping work areas clean and organized
Being available to do deliveries (optional)
Assembling buffets on site by setting up the food chafers (warmers)
REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to consistently work fast as well as under pressure
Ability to work as a team and coordinate with other employees
Ability to communicate in either French or English
Ability to take charge and ensure a quality service
Ability to be punctual and reliable
Having a drivers license (optional)
Owning a car (optional)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
