Job Description

Working collaboratively with operations, reporting to the Federal Hospitality Assets & Facilities Manager, this role will be responsible to ensure our sites are maintained, tidy and works are carried out to a required standard of quality and within specified timeframes. We are in the business of creating memorable moments and true Tasmanian experiences for our customers and our Maintenance Manager will play a big role in attaining this. The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Oversee the property management function for your portfolio, including internal and external property maintenance, venue building and renovations, contractor management and asset management (life cycle management of equipment and assets) in line with the strategic plan and policies and procedures.

Execute and manage capital maintenance and management plans to ensure the building, renovation and maintenance of sites is prioritised through a customer centric lens and meets agreed timeframes, budgets, legislative requirements and strategic objectives.

Ensure all property management activities adhere to all relevant legislation and regulatory codes and established policies, processes and procedures in order to minimise organisational risk and to protect organisational reputation.

Maintenance administration including reviewing work orders, reviewing quotes and contractor management.


What You'll Bring To The Role:

You are a detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely results. You’ll also bring:

Excellent understanding and knowledge of the building maintenance environment, including contractor management.

Relevant tertiary or Trade qualification, or equivalent practical experience within the building industry (preferred).

Experience in managing contractors to complete works and evaluating their performance.

A genuine respect for industry safety standards and the critical part maintenance plays in adhering to the safety of all staff and customers.

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload to meet deadlines and exceptional administrative and organisational skills

A valid un-restricted driver’s licence
