What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you’ll provide person-centred, evidence-based care that promotes positive health outcomes. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in partnership with patients and the healthcare team.
Deliver high-quality, timely, and culturally appropriate care
Systematically assess and document patient care plans and progress
Support and mentor Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
Foster teamwork and open communication within the unit
Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement

Essential Requirements
Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD
Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
Emergency Department experience preferred
