Job Description
We’re a rapidly growing Latin dance school in Sydney, and our community is expanding every month.
Our goal is to share the joy of salsa dancing with more people across the city and create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.
We’re not just a dance school — we’re a community where people come to feel welcomed, confident, and connected.
About the Role
We’re looking for a young, enthusiastic, high-energy, warm, and caring person to join our team.
Someone who:
Loves talking to people
Makes others feel comfortable
Takes initiative
Is competent and reliable
Learns fast
Takes feedback well
Genuinely enjoys helping people
Wants to grow with a fast-moving company
Has an interest in community, culture, and people (you don’t need to be a dancer)
This is a casual/part-time role with the potential to grow into full-time if you perform well and want more responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting students and creating a welcoming environment
Managing check-ins and front-desk flow
Talking to new students and helping them feel at home
Selling memberships and programs (training provided)
Answering questions and supporting instructors
Handling simple admin tasks
Helping maintain a positive, warm studio atmosphere
Being a friendly face who supports the community
What You Need
Required:
Sales experience (retail, hospitality, memberships, phone sales — any sales helps)
Strong communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Confidence in social, busy environments
Nice to have:
Interest in dance, culture, or community
Customer service experience
Experience in hospitality, events, or people-focused roles
Hours & Pay
Casual/part-time
Mainly evenings (Mon–Thu), with optional weekend events
More hours available as we continue growing
Opportunity to move into full-time if you’re the right fit
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
Warm, community-focused environment
Supportive and friendly team
You’ll help people feel more confident and connected
Part of a growing movement in Sydney
Opportunities to grow your role over time
How to Apply
Please send us:
Your CV
A quick video introduction (1–2 minutes) where you:
Introduce yourself
Tell us who you are

Explain why you’d be a good fit for this role
The video doesn’t need to be polished — just be yourself.
We’d love to get a sense of your warmth, personality, and how you interact with people.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $24.95 – $77.87 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Surry Hills NSW 2010
