Job Summary:

The Desktop Support Engineer will provide technical support and guidance to end users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues. The role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Technical Support: Respond to help desk requests and provide assistance to resolve issues related to hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and network problems. Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff if necessary.
Install and Configure Software/Hardware: Set up new computers, install operating systems, and configure required software applications for new employees or system upgrades.
Maintain IT Infrastructure: Ensure the efficient operation of desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades.
User Training: Educate users on basic troubleshooting steps and best practices for maintaining IT equipment.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and software/hardware inventory.
System Updates and Patching: Ensure that systems are up-to-date with the latest software updates, patches, and security measures.
Network Support: Assist with basic network troubleshooting such as connectivity issues, VPN configurations, and remote access support.
Backup and Recovery: Support backup and data recovery efforts for workstations and ensure data protection practices are in place.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
