Position Overview:
The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning and executing online marketing strategies that promote the company’s IT products and services. This role requires strong knowledge of digital channels, lead generation strategies, and the ability to communicate technical offerings in a clear and engaging way. The ideal candidate should understand the IT industry, SaaS, software solutions, or technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Demand Generation
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads for IT products/services.
Use paid ads (Google, LinkedIn, Meta) targeted towards IT decision-makers (CXOs, IT heads, procurement teams).
Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and reduce cost per lead (CPL).
2. SEO & Website Optimization
Conduct keyword research relevant to IT services, software solutions, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.
Implement SEO strategies to improve ranking of IT solution pages.
Work with developers to improve website performance, UX, and landing page conversions.
3. Content & Technical Messaging
Create and manage content for blogs, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns, and social media.
Ensure content communicates complex IT concepts in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
Collaborate with technical teams for accurate product/service positioning.
4. Social Media & Branding
Manage company social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube).
Build the brand’s presence by sharing tech updates, product announcements, industry trends, etc.
Increase engagement within IT communities and forums.
5. Email & Automation Marketing
Create drip campaigns and workflows using marketing tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Mailchimp).
Nurture leads by sharing IT-specific resources tailored to their buying journey.
6. Analytics & Reporting
Track campaign performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads.
Generate weekly/monthly reports on website traffic, conversions, and campaign ROI.
Provide recommendations based on data insights.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in IT/software/technology sector.
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and marketing analytics.
Familiarity with IT terminologies (SaaS, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, networking, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and CRM tools.
Strong communication, creativity, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a B2B IT environment.
Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Ability to create basic graphics using Canva or Adobe tools.
Understanding of technical content writing.
Video editing skills are a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number and quality of leads generated for IT products/services.
Website traffic growth and lead conversion rate.
SEO ranking improvements for IT solution pages.
Growth in social media engagement and industry reach.
