Company Summary:
The company is an Indian legal and chartered accountants firm, established in 1950, that specializes in providing direct and indirect taxation, audit, accounting, and consultancy services.
Role Overview:
The Senior Executive – GST & Income Tax will be responsible for managing end-to-end GST compliance, income tax filings, audits, reconciliations, departmental queries, and maintaining statutory records. The role requires strong analytical skills, updated knowledge of tax laws, and hands-on experience with GST and Income Tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GST Compliance & Advisory
Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C.
Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B vs Books, GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B, E-way bills, ITC mismatches depending on client requirement.
Handling Input Tax Credit (ITC) including blocked credits, reversals, Rule 42/43 computations.
Filing GST refund claims (exports, inverted duty, and excess cash ledger).
Managing GST notices, ASMT-10/11, DRC-01/02/03/06 and drafting replies.
Monitoring and implementing changes based on new GST notifications, circulars, and amendments.
Assist in monthly tax ledger closing.
2. Income Tax Compliance
Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies.
Complete knowledge of conducting statutory and Tax Audit.
Filing TDS Returns – Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ.
Computation of advance tax, self-assessment tax, MAT, and preparation of 3CD annexures.
Preparation of 3CA/3CB and 3CD reports and working papers.
Handling income tax notices under Sections 143(1), 139(9), 154, 143(2), 148.
Proper maintenance of audit files, reconciliations, and statutory registers
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of GST Act, Income Tax Act, and related rules.
Hands-on experience with GST portal and Income Tax portal.
Proficiency in Excel & reconciliation tools.
Strong drafting skills for notices and submissions.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Qualification & Experience:
CA / CA Inter/ MBA Finance/ / M.Com / B.Com .
2–4 years of experience in GST & Income Tax compliance.
Experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, Oracle) preferred.
Preferred Age below 45 years.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
