Avro Commercial Co Pvt. Ltd. is urgently hiring one Legal Associate and one Legal Intern for its corporate office in Kolkata. The roles are strictly on-site, focusing on legal compliance, regulatory tracking (SEBI, RBI, FEMA), and secretarial support within the NBFC sector.

Job Details

Position: Legal Associate / Legal Intern

Vacancies: Legal Associate – 1; Legal Intern – 1

Experience Required (PQE): LLB (Associate); Final-year law students with prior corporate internship experience (Intern). CS preferred.

Job Type: Full-time (Associate) / Pre-placement Internship (6 months for Intern)

Mode: On-site (No remote or hybrid option)

Location: Unimark Asian, Kolkata – 700017

Focus Areas
• NBFC Legal Compliance and Regulatory Work
• SEBI, RBI, FEMA Compliance Tracking
• Legal Drafting and Documentation Maintenance
• Secretarial Work Support

Eligibility Criteria
• Qualification: LLB (mandatory); CS preferred but not mandatory.
• Full-time availability (in-office only).
• Interest in legal compliance and regulatory work.
• Interns: Final-year law students with prior corporate internship experience may apply for a 6-month pre-placement internship.
• Women looking to start/restart their careers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in day-to-day legal compliance.
• Maintain and organise legal documentation.
• Assist in drafting and handling legal correspondences.
• Track regulatory updates under SEBI, RBI, FEMA, and other applicable laws; prepare briefs on amendments.
• Support Legal Counsel in legal and secretarial work.
• Report directly to the Legal Counsel.
