Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join our Infrastructure Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Planning & Inventory Manager, this role plays a vital part in supporting construction requirements by ensuring supply chain processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You’ll be working closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, logistics coordinators and internal stakeholders across Australia to maintain accurate systems, resolve data entry issues, and provide timely reports and communications. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team within Downer’s Infrastructure business, where your contribution directly supports the delivery of essential projects.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Provide administrative and reporting support to the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams.
Maintain and update supply chain databases (JDE) with a high level of accuracy.
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
Distribute reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders in a proactive and timely manner.
Support compliance with Zero Harm, safety, and quality processes across the business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has a strong customer service mindset. You will bring:

Minimum 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in purchasing, logistics or supply chain.
Strong supplier and client relationship skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
A methodical and accurate approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
