Design Application Engineer

Monitor product usage and adoption to ensure customer success and ROI realization.
Gather customer feedback and suggest workflow improvements or process optimizations.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of customer issues, resolutions, and interactions in internal systems and relevant support portals.
Document recurring issues, solutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
Prepare reports on customer usage, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Educational Qualifications

B.E. / B. Tech or M.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of 2D CAD concepts and drafting standards.
Hands-on experience with BricsCAD (preferred) or similar CAD software such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, etc.
Understanding of engineering drawings, layers, blocks, dimensions, and annotations.
Basic knowledge of system hardware, OS compatibility, and software environments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer-facing interactions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and business-relevant manner.

Experience (Preferred)

1–5 years of experience in CAD application support, design engineering, or technical pre/post-sales roles.
Experience working with B2B customers in engineering, manufacturing, or construction domains is an advantage.
