We're looking for someone who knows operating excavator to dig and move earth. You should be good at following plans and instructions for excavation and making sure you work safely with the machinery. Also, you need to be physically fit to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.


Job Description
We are a new development company in New Zealand. We specialise in trading construction materials such as plywood, steel, sheet metal, machinery, hydraulic fittings, tools, and excavators.

We also provide excavator hire services, including experienced operators.

We are currently looking for new team members to join our company.

Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We have two permanent full-time positions available for excavator operator in Auckland who are good team players and willing to take on new challenges. We offer a competitive wage ranging from $35 to $40 per hour. You can work at least 30 hours a week and a maximum of 45 hours a week including working on weekends.

Our requirements:

We're looking for someone with strong skills in operating excavators and related equipment. You should be able to understand plans and follow instructions precisely. Additionally, you need to have the physical stamina and dexterity to work in different weather and environments.

Responsibilities:

Get the equipment ready and in the right position for work.

Choose and put on or take off tools like buckets, scoops, or hammers.

Use the controls to dig, break, move, or spread materials like dirt, rocks, or rubble.

Keep an eye on how the equipment is working and adjust the controls to make sure it's safe and efficient.

Use manual or hydraulic controls to move and use the tools.

Follow drawings, markers, or verbal instructions to do the job.

Take care of the equipment by servicing it, adding oil, cleaning it, and filling it with fuel. And if needed, do small repairs.
