Full job description
J&J Bains Food Limited operates a Pizza Hut Store in Whanganui and seeks to hire multiple candidates to work as Fast-food cooks. The role involves preparing and cooking pizzas while delivering outstanding customer service.

The detailed job responsibilities are as per below:

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of toppings such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
Ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection by monitoring oven temperatures and cooking times, adhering to company quality standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and inquiries.
Contribute to meeting daily sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor inventory levels and notify the Store Manager when additional supplies are needed.
Clean and sanitise workstations before preparing pizzas, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly sterilised.
Plate or package pizzas appropriately for dine-in or takeaway orders.
Manage order slips and ensure timely preparation of customer orders.
Discard any expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
Assist with opening duties, including preparing the store for business hours.
Serve customers and process their payments using various payment methods.
Deliver pizzas to customers at their requested locations when required, subject to holding a valid driver’s license.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $24 to $28 per hour.

Other essential requirements for the role:
Available to work from Monday to Sunday on rotated shifts from 10 AM until 11 PM.
Valid Driver's license and clean driving history
Relevant work experience will be preferred
Must be able to drive to handle the pizza deliveries.
Available to work on weekends.
Clean criminal record.
Must pass drug test
Physically fit to stand for a longer duration.
