Deli/Seafood Assistant - Part-time

We’re on the hunt for an energetic, customer-focused Deli/Seafood Assistant to join our busy Fresh Foods team at New World.

If you love food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is your chance to shine. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Deli and Seafood departments, helping ensure our cabinets are beautifully presented, fully stocked, and filled with fresh, high-quality products that our customers love.

From preparing and displaying deli favourites to assisting with fresh seafood handling, you’ll be part of a team that values quality, teamwork, and great customer experiences. Whether you’re experienced in food retail or looking to step into a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

A passion for great food and excellent customer service
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
Willingness to learn and follow food safety and hygiene standards
A friendly, approachable manner and commitment to great presentation
Days and hours:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday – hours to be discussed at interview.
