Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and organising ingredients
Support chefs with cooking and meal assembly as directed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers to prevent contamination
Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
Restock supplies and organise storage areas for efficient workflow
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during shift
Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
Basic understanding of food preparation and meal service is advantageous but not mandatory
