Job Description

As an Administrative Support VI, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. diploma in business or office administration, specialized external certification).
Additional Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma plus completion of Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk courses required. Minimum 3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting required. Proficient in MS Office Suite (required). Experience managing electronic images and working knowledge of Provincial Electronic Imaging (PEI). Strong supervisory and teaching abilities. Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and maintain accuracy in work processes. Excellent organizational skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English. Ability to foster teamwork, work independently, and assume responsibility. Skilled in facilitating change within a dynamic, technology-driven environment. Commitment to following established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within Diagnostic Imaging. Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or Health Information Management. Advanced knowledge of Connect Care, PACS, and Netcare; Super User level preferred.
