About the team - Mo te ropu
International Revenue Strategy (IRS) plays a critical role in maintaining IR's strong international reputation and delivering future-focused services to its customers. These customers include other international tax authorities and organisations, as well as individuals with offshore interests. The team continues to address major international tax issues through smart strategies and the effective exchange of international intelligence.
IRS has recently refreshed its focus and team structure to further improve the customer experience by aligning all roles to deliver the right outcomes for IR, government, and ultimately, customers.
About the role - Mo te tunga
Customer Compliance Specialists within IRS have a unique opportunity to contribute to New Zealand's international tax programme. This role focuses on working with customers and their representatives to facilitate international tax compliance both domestically and globally.
New Customer Compliance Specialists will bring strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills, and be willing to work collaboratively with taxpayers and their representatives to support international tax compliance.
If this sounds like you, take the opportunity to join the team at an exciting time as we further develop and refine Inland Revenue's international compliance strategies.
