Full job description
Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a family-owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer-every time.

We have a 32 hour per week roie available, with 4 (four) x 8 (eight) hour shifts from Friday to Monday, within our Drive Thru area. We are looking for people with experience or an interest in timber and building products as you will be working with both Trade and DIY customers.


We are looking for someone who has:

Enthusiasm and team spirit
A passion for customer service excellence
Honest and reliable timekeeping
A willingness to learn
Good communications skills
A full driver’s license and already has, or is wanting to, obtain a forklift license.

Previous retail experience and/or experience in timber and building products would be an advantage although applicants with a proven retail background and who are eager to learn will be considered.

The role:

Reports to the Drive Thru Supervisor
Will be rostered Friday to Monday, 8 hour shifts.
We may be open to 2 part timers covering a couple of days each - one weekend day will be required for each person.
