About the Role

Are you ready to step into a dynamic and rewarding role? We are on the lookout for experienced Casual Security Officers to join our team at - Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui, Hawkes Bay.

This exciting role covers both the Hastings Memorial Hospital and the Napier Health Centre, providing 24/7 security services.

About you

You are calm under pressure, proactive, and confident in handling situations independently. Your ability to connect with people and work collaboratively will set you apart.

Experience in security or a related field (healthcare or mental health experience is an advantage)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic computer skills
Medical and physical fitness suitable for the role
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to obtain a Security Guard License (COA)
Working at Health New Zealand
