About the role

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused La Mono Counter Staff/Waiter to join our vibrant team in Merrylands, NSW 2160. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional table service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers.

Australian work rights are essential for this position.

This role requires availability to work both day and evening shifts.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
Taking food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen team
Serving food and drinks to customers in a timely and attentive way
Ensuring the dining area is clean, tidy and well-stocked at all times
Handling cash and processing payments accurately
Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer queries or concerns
Working collaboratively with the wider team to contribute to the smooth running of the business
What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system skills
A passion for food, coffee and creating an exceptional customer experience
