Role Summary – Events & Promotions Manager (Part-Time)

The Events & Reservations Manager will play a key role in driving engagement, revenue, and visibility through the planning and promotion of events across the venue’s bar, café, and function spaces. Working closely with the management team, this role will ensure all enquiries, bookings, and promotions are handled efficiently, professionally, and aligned with the venue’s brand and customer experience standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to all event and group booking enquiries.
Assist in implementing marketing plans to drive event enquires.
Manage the coordination and booking process for large groups across the bar, café, and function areas.
Develop and maintain an engaging annual calendar of special events, promotions, and themed activations.
Assist in marketing event programs, including preparation of social media content, email updates, and in-house promotional materials.
Liaise with suppliers, entertainers, and community partners to build collaborations and deliver well-executed events.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure event logistics (staffing, set-up, menus, signage) are clearly communicated and executed.
Track event performance and guest feedback to provide regular insights and improvement suggestions.
Maintain an up-to-date events database and assist in generating reports for management review.
Support the general marketing efforts of the venue — e.g., photography, website updates, on-site promotions, and signage.
Represent the venue professionally when engaging with guests, vendors, and partners.
