About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically minded Line Operator to join our production team at our Truganina site. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring high-speed filling and packaging machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient line performance.

This is a full-time, permanent position within a supportive team environment, working on well-established production lines including Krones, Kosme, PET manufacturing and automated packaging systems.

Shift Pattern

This role works a permanent 12-hour shift, either:

12:00 AM - 12:00 PM (permanent night shift)
or
12:00 PM - 12:00 AM (permanent afternoon shift)
You will work an 84-hour fortnight following a repeating 7-shift cycle:

2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on - 2 days off - 2 days on - 3 days off

Additional details:

You will remain on your chosen shift permanently (no rotating between AM/PM).
Two full weekends off every month.
Predictable roster with regular long breaks.
Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and adjust beverage filling and packaging machinery.
Keep materials and packaging components stocked to maintain continuous line flow.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate equipment faults where required.
Assist with changeovers, basic maintenance tasks and cleaning activities.
Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMP requirements.
Complete production documentation and quality checks accurately.
What You'll Bring

Experience in FMCG, bottling, packaging or high-speed manufacturing (preferred).
Mechanically minded with the ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet.
Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene protocols.
Experience with Krones/Kosme equipment or PET manufacturing highly regarded.
Current forklift licence and driver's licence (advantageous).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work safely in a team environment.
