Personal and Professional Development:

To understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of the CQC and its requirements.
To commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role.
To attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management.
To understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
To adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England
Our three Homes: The Whitgift Almshouses, Whitgift House and Wilhelmina House, are happy, thriving and secure communities where staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide the highest standards of care. Within Whitgift Care, we like to call ourselves a family where our core values of respect, dignity and privacy are our priority.

We are proud to be part of the John Whitgift Foundation, a local charity in Croydon, whose mission is to provide education for the young and care for the elderly since its establishment by our Founder, Archbishop John Whitgift, in 1596.

Our passion for care also extends to the wider local community through our Carers’ Information Service that provides invaluable information, support and advice to an estimated 30,000 carers in Croydon.
