We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Rolands Harrogate. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of drinks and cocktails.Your role will be to work with the GM and AGM to ensure that every patron enjoys a memorable experience, using your expertise in bartending, coupled with your passion for hospitality. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Take responsibility for the running and safety of the business when the GM and AGM are not present
Contribute to upcoming cocktail and wine menus, working with the AGM and GM to create amazing drink menus that regularly change
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
Use your experience to help other team members improve whilst sticking to the Palagander way
Manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to basic maths skills for tabulation.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued, overseeing other members of staff.
Assist the GM and AGM with customer enquiries, bookings and private hires.
Requirements

Proven experience in a Head Bartender or Supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality setting or someone looking to make their next step in their career.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Basic maths skills for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
Ability to handle complaints and issues when management are not present
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for bartending and creating unique drink experiences for patrons.
