TrueCare Physiotherapy is a thriving and busy clinic, proudly serving a large and growing patient base while welcoming hundreds of new patients every month. Our strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care has made us a trusted choice in the community for physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
We are excited to expand our team and are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to support our clinics in Milton and Burlington. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients, utilizing patients management software.
- Manage office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Schedule appointments and manage practitioner schedules.
- Assist in practitioner cleaning the room and organizing the equipments
- Maintain office organization and cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Support physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
- Monitor and report patient progress to the physiotherapy team
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
Requirements
- Experience or education in patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with billing and claims processing
- Proficient in data entry and computerized systems
- Familiarity with working in a hospital or acute care environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
