Are you a people person with a passion for community health? North Melbourne Pharmacy is looking for a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Whether you are looking for a stable Full-Time career or a flexible Part-Time role, we want to hear from you!
Located in the heart of North Melbourne, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional healthcare advice and friendly service to our diverse local community.
The Role
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you are the face of our business. Your day-to-day will involve:
Customer Service: Greeting customers and providing helpful, professional advice on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and health products.
Dispensing Support: Assisting our pharmacists with script intake
Point of Sale: Processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling.
Merchandising: Restocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring the pharmacy looks inviting and organised.
Community Care: Building relationships with our regular patients to ensure they receive the best possible care.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a community pharmacy is highly regarded (S2/S3 knowledge is a plus), but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong retail background.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills and a friendly, empathetic attitude.
Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to the role
