Business Operations Lead

Overview

We are seeking a driven and hands-on Startup Operations Lead to help run and grow our early-stage K-beauty retail business. This is a highly collaborative, multifaceted role for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and contributing across all areas of the business. You will support daily store operations, manage multiple priorities, and work closely with ownership to build, improve, and scale operational processes as the company grows.

This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and excited about growing a business from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.

Duties

Develop and implement scalable operational strategies that improve efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
Support and manage day-to-day store operations, including working on the sales floor
Handle multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment
Assist with back-office tasks such as scheduling, inventory coordination, and vendor communication
Help develop and improve operational systems and workflows as the business grows
Support sales, promotions, and customer experience initiatives
Assist with marketing and growth efforts, including in-store activations and events
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for process improvements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Manage projects related to process optimization, system integrations, and automation initiatives using project management best practices.
Support business analysis efforts by evaluating current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Requirements

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Retail experience or strong retail knowledge required
Comfortable working in a startup environment with changing priorities
Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Interest or experience in store operations, sales, and marketing
Must own a car
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
Interest in K-beauty or beauty retail preferred
Korean-speaking is a plus, but not required
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while fostering collaboration across teams.
