The Opportunity: Strategic | Influential | Impactful

We are seeking an accomplished Group Financial Controller to serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and governance across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with the Group’s business plan and long-term growth objectives.
Demonstrate a hands-on approach, pitch in when needed, remain visible, engaged, and supportive to empower and develop the finance team.
Financial Governance and Control

Lead and maintain a robust internal control framework to ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the Group.
Oversee internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous control maturity.
Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to deliver timely, accurate financial results.
Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, statutory reporting, and technical accounting positions.
Tax & Treasury Leadership

Lead the Group’s taxation strategy, ensuring compliance with corporate tax, indirect taxes, and ATO requirements.
Manage tax planning, advisory matters, and risk mitigation in partnership with internal and external specialists.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation

Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, reporting, and data integrity.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) with deep technical accounting expertise.
Strong statutory reporting, consolidations, compliance, audit, and internal control experience.
Demonstrated capability in tax and treasury oversight, including cash flow management, funding, and debt compliance.
Leadership & Capability

Confident and influential communicator with the ability to convey complex financial matters clearly to executives, boards, and cross-functional stakeholders.
High commercial and strategic acumen with the ability to balance compliance, risk, and business outcomes.
